We’re excited to let you know that the tennis court resurfacing project is finished!

These courts are around 40 years old, and the surface was way past the typical 20-year lifespan of asphalt. The repairs were a big job. We had to remove 3–4 inches from the top—about six layers that had built up from past fixes. Just patching it up again wouldn’t have worked.

The new asphalt was put down last fall, and we had to let it cure (or dry) for about a month. Last week, we added a seal coat, painted lines for 2 tennis courts, 2 pickleball courts, and 1 full basketball court, and then added a final seal.

We decided not to replace the fencing, since it's still strong and safe. That would have doubled the cost of this project. We might paint it or add a coating to make it look better sometime this year or next.

The courts are now open to all members and residents! Please help take care of them.

That means:

🚫 No bikes, skateboards, or vehicles on the courts
👟 Athletic shoes only
❌ No rough play or activities that could damage the surface

These courts belong to all of us—let’s keep them in great shape so we can enjoy for many years to come!
